This was as much a science fair as a campout. Chris collected data on a Peltier Junction (solid state) refrigerator/freezer module, Caryn tossed a Chinese boomerang that actually returned. I didn't know the Chinese were 1st with that, too! Ted tries a standard Aussie one. We played with a big Fresnel lens, standing waves in a fast moving chain, wrestled Mary L's wire hoop tent and learned about antlion "doodlebugs" from entomologist Caryn.
